Template used for syncing the protection templates.
Parameters[edit]
|expiry=
- Used to specify the expiry date of a protection
- Optional; defaults to nothing
- When specifying a expiry date of a move protection, use
|moveexpiry=
for the move expiry date.
|reason=
- Used to specify what the protection is for.
- Optional; defaults to generic, or to long-term if expiry = indef.
- Use
|movereason=
for specifying a move protection reason.

= User talk of Blocked user

- Please refer to Template:Protection templates if you are not sure what you can use for each type of protection.
|reason2=
- Used only in templates that support it, for the
|reason=
parameter.
- Optional; does not specify parameter in the template if not specified.
- Use
|movereason2=
for specifying a move protection reason.
|user=
- Used for ((pp-semi-usertalk)) and ((pp-usertalk)) for the user parameter.
- Optional; does not specify parameter in the template if not specified.
- Move protection does not have a usertalk protection template, so there is no equivalent parameter for move protection.
|category=
- Set to none if you want no category to be added when using ((pp-office)).
- Optional; does not specify parameter in the template if not specified.
- Used only in ((pp-office)); as such, there is no move protection equivalent.
|small=
- Set to yes or no to set the small parameter in templates that support it.
- Optional; most templates default to yes, except for a few which default to no, such as pp-move-dispute.
- Use
|movesmall=
for the small parameter on the move templates.
