Razaq Olayiwola, popularly known as Ojopagogo, is a Nigerian actor, film director, film producer, and musician, and husband to Moji Afolayan.[1] He is popular for usually playing the role of an old man with a shaky voice in movies.
Razaq was born in Iseyin but is a native of Oyo town, both in Oyo State.[2] He got the now popular stage nameOjopagogo during a stage play, Ola Abata, that had the presence of the late Alaafin of Oyo in 1986.[3]
He got married to Moji Afolayan, first daughter of the late Adeyemi Afolayan (Ade Love) in 2003, 3 years after the death of his first wife, Funmilayo Akanke Olayiwola;[4] and they have four children.
For his primary school education, Ojopagogo attended A.U.D. Primary School in Ebedi, Iseyin. He proceeded to Otu Community Grammar School and Anwar-ul Islam High School, both in Iseyin, for his secondary school education.[2]
Ojopagogo started acting in 1983 and is set to celebrate his 40th year on stage in 2023.[5]
