At edit-a-thons I work during the speaker's introductory talk answering individual questions and helping new editors register accounts and learn basic Wiki mark-up. As the edit-a-thon progress, I help new editors start their own articles, often formatting or adding references. If time permits, I edit my own articles.
In total we placed over 300 art history videos into Wikipedia articles.
Though the project is nominally not active, I continue to place Smarthistory videos into articles, as well as videos from other GLAM organizations including TED, the MacArthur "Genius Fellows" program, and several art museums.
WikiProject National Register of Historic Places - an all volunteer project. I've taken, uploaded and placed about 2,000 photos of NRHP sites and written or edited articles on nearly as many.
Funds Dissemination Committee Advisory Group (2012-2014)
worked with the official WMF committee which set up the FDC in 2012, and then reviewed it's achievements in 2014 before making a recommendation to the MWF Executive Director Lila Tretikov to continue the program.

Why you can't hire me
I'm proud to be a Wikipedia volunteer and would be happy to help your GLAM institution collaborate with Wikipedia. Since I am happily retired, I would be quite interested and willing to work with you without pay. If you'd like to pay somebody to be a Wikipedian-in-Residence, you should use the money to hire somebody who is younger and needs the experience to help start a career.
