CAN'T RETIRE
TechGeek105 tried to leave Wikipedia, but found that he couldn't do so…

I am from Canberra, and I created and edited various types of pages, including articles, categories and redirects. My real name is Sebastian, but you can also call me Bas.

Some of the redirects I created on Wikipedia or helped to create include: the Belconnen Mall redirect page, which does currently redirect to Westfield Belconnen, thanks to me. The reason why I created that redirect is because the name itself is an alternative name of the shopping centre. Another redirect I help to create is the 10 Canberra redirect page, which currently redirects to CTC (TV station) because that name is CTC's LCN name in Canberra.

About my notable personal life; I met Dylan Alcott on 1 September 2022, at the 2022 Jobs and Skills Summit at the Federal Parliament House, after being interviewed by the Disability Royal Commission in June that year, hence I am connected to the commission and Alcott.[1] My back appeared on Nine News on 29 September 2023, in a story about the Royal Commission's final report.[2] I have a Cerebral Palsy disability, which doesn't affect my edits to Wikimedia wikis. Since January 2022, I am a Alfred Deakin High School student, I edited the school article three times, the first edit was to add some information about the new principal, Mr Brian Downton, the second edit was to add information about the school experiencing lead paint contamination in the July 2020 school holidays, becoming the third school in the ACT to do so, and the third time I edited the article, I added additional refs via the National Library of Australia's Trove service. I am just a 14-year old teenager.

Now about my edit milestones, I did my first edit on Wikipedia on 13 October 2018, to the Sky News Extra article. It was me adding the then-new Your Money TV channel, to the info-box of the article. I gained 1000 edits on Wednesday 21 September 2022. I gained 2000 edits on 3 December 2022. I gained 3000 edits on Sunday 15 January 2023. I gained 4000 edits on 9 March 2023. I gained 5000 edits on 5 May 2023. I planned to gain 6000 non-deleted edits by 1 November 2023. I achieved this goal on 31 October 2023, editing my draft article Draft:1SSS.

Now onto my Wikipedia usernames and my YouTube channel. This account was previously called Bassie f, because I tried to make a username, back in October 2018, when this account was created, until this account was renamed to TechGeek105 on 1 April 2023. I tried asking to rename this account to BTA-wiki on 26 August 2023, but it was rejected as a business name. BTA stands for Bas Tech Australia, which is my YouTube channel brand currently. I will keep this username for a minimum of 6 months.

I have a global Wikimedia account, so as a result I also contribute to Wikimedia Commons, other language Wikipedias including French and Wikidata.

My current goal for Wikipedia is to clean up references using ProveIt, on various television and technology articles.

Feel free to sign my guestbook whilst you are here, if you want to.

These are my contributions. Link if you need to email me. My talk page.
