My Interests
My interests are varied, given my meandering career path and wildly diverging pastimes. Here they are, in no particular order;
humanitarian work, accountability mechanisms, governance, places of detention, politics of aid
positive psychology, personal development, interpersonal relations, introspection
social media, communication, whistleblowing (anonymous or otherwise)
intersectionality, women's issues, Islam, syariah law
English and Malay literature
local history and points of interest, and finally
translating content - to and from - English and Malay.
Why write for Wikipedia?
Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘When a man dies, his deeds come to an end, but three:
1. recurring charity,
2. or knowledge (by which people) benefit,
3. or a pious off-spring, who prays for him (for the deceased).’
