He is of Scottish and Irish descent and has a right to play for Malta national rugby league team under the International Rugby League (IRL) eligibility rules that states that if that country has been that player's "principal country of residence" three years up until the date of the player's selection he is eligible to represent that country.

On 6th August 2021, Hall was loaned out to Harrogate Hawks on a two week loan deal with his first game resulting in a 36-20 loss to Leeds Akkies at home.

On 31st August 2021, Hall signed for Harrogate Hawks for the 2022 season after 2 years with Sheffield Forgers.
