Justina Mutale (born 8 January, 1961) is a Zambian born rights activist based in the United Kingdom.

Life

Mutale was born in Zambia on 8 January 1961.[1] She has eight brothers and four sisters and she is one of the middle children.[2]

In 2012 she was given the title of "African Woman of the Year" in a ceremony that also recognised South African Desmond Tutu and Joyce Banda of Malawi[3] but there seems to no record of who awarded it. She also feartures in the GOD awards that has failed to be seen as a notable award by Wikipedia.

She founded an organisation name "Positive Runway" that campaigns to reduce HIV/AIDS.[4]
