James Montagu Frank Drummond[edit]

Thanks for your reply Stephen regarding the connection with Rev Henry Drummond. It is worth me researching. If you remember where you made the link from, do let me know. I know Stirling University Archives have related papers regarding the Drummond family in Stirling. (William Drummond and Drummond Seeds)

The line is James Montagu Frank Drummond, son of James Ramsay Drummond, son of Rev James Drummond, Clackmannan, died Bannockburn, son of Thomas Drummond (2nd Sir John Franklin Arctic Expedition (1825-27), Son of Thomas Drummond Gardener Fotheringham estate and Elizabeth Nicol. I see from your page your ancestors are from around the same area!

Also James Drummond Botanist Western Australia is the brother of Thomas Drummond 1793-1835.

It is worth me researching as there is a Reverend James Drummond on the line in the Stirling area.

Many thanks Louise Meikle
