Edit summary and edit[edit]

Your edit in good faith is clearly a global problem at the moment, and indeed requires addressing, a list of public art is in all probablility a missed opportunity... and as it is something that requires some understanding of how wikipedia works - edit summaries do not stick they get lost in article histories, and usually are never seen or understood at the best of times - the issue of identifying perpetators of inhumanity towards indigenous populations is something that is a lot better stated at a location such as the Australian editors noticeboard. The project as a whole has not come to terms with the actual behaviours of the statued persons - and it would be much more appropriate for the project to sort out the issue there, rather than just one list... April 2024[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Organizations are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:32, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages such as Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Organizations for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Thank you. John of Reading (talk) 06:52, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
