Welcome!
Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your , so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register). Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.
Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |

AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:48, 18 November 2018 (UTC)Are you sure your IP is "dynamic"? It geolocates as "static". FYI - wolf 07:34, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
If your IP is dynamic, why don't you create an account? You seem intent on being a contributing editor here, creating articles, etc. If your IP was static, I could understand remaining as an IP, we have some editors who have steadily contributed using the same IP for years. But your IP will likely change soon, and you will lose your WP identity and the credit for your creations, and any accolades you've received. Also, have you looked into the benefits of creating an account? Check it out... - wolf 15:10, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
