Alison thanks for going the extra mile for Flyer22. It took intelligence and hard work to work through to a solution, and you showed real strength of character in being flexible about your initial stance, where many people would have dug in. Very admirable. Herostratus (talk) 04:10, 3 January 2013 (UTC) |

Ali, Noodleki has been deleting massive amounts of text from the 1934 article. There has been a back and forth; I have responded to his or her questions and referred him/her to the right forum. He/she has basically communicated with me through increasingly unhinged edit summaries; has not raised the matter at the WP:RY talk page; has gotten no noticeable support from any other editors, and has not even responded to my points on his/her talk page. I do not want to violate WP:3RR so do you have any advice for anybody in this matter. One concern I have is that his/her (I am not being facetious; I really don't know the gender) deletions are subjective and once a fait accompli will be done likewise with other years (i.e. 1920-1939). Thanks. Quis separabit? 01:02, 16 January 2013 (UTC)

That was unexpected. :-) Prioryman (talk) 18:37, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Hey Alison, a long long time ago, ha! during the Bush years, you checked on IP 207.203.67.250. That IP is at ANI again. I don't know if the time lapse has made that previous check unnecessary, but you never know. Really, I never know, since I'm neither as pretty nor as smart as you. Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Muirchu.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 22:14, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
