bof. It seems quicker to remove something than to add it. :( . I put the picture near the first sentence about prawn in the article... you remove it, explaining it is not adequate as first picture. Ok. I take care of your edit... put it on the second sentence about prawns. (Repetition denotes importance of this fact for cameroon article... I have no doubt that you, like a good small soldier, will remove one sentence now). You remove it for another reason... :( Do you want to initiate an edit war? No thanks! Please note that this is not a simple picture of prawn. it is a prawn form wouri estuary, that mean an illustration of the subject. But i do not know why i spend my time here... Chacun chez soi et les vaches seront bien gardées. Tatoute 09:07, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Amcaja, I'd appreciate any input you could provide here with regard to this. I don't think this change has consensus (at least not with me). Instead of reverting, I commented there so that we can establish consensus on this. I'm currently making the round to "canvass" for some input and since I value your opinion, I decided to notify you alongside several other more or less regular contributors to WT:WAF. — [ aldebaer] 23:27, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi Amcaja
(I don't know if I'm totally breaking the rules on wikipedia by doing this, as I'm not familiar with all the protocols etc. So apologies in the event that I am.)
My name is Luke Mosse and I'm a musician based in Bristol, UK. I'm about to start a PhD at SOAS in London in ethnomusicology.
I'm getting in touch because I'm currently organising this project:
www.wimwam.net
which is basically a documentary project showcasing percussionists who are based in Bristol. You can find out all about the project by having a look on the website, in particular if you have a look at the 'artists' page you'll see some of the percussionists that are involved.
One of our guys, Alphonse, is from Cameroon and plays Balafon.
As part of opening the site up and making it a bit more interesting, I'm inviting people from all over to write articles for the blogs section. I can see that you've posted quite a few articles already on wikipedia on the subject of Cameroon and it's music, I was wondering if you'd be interested in submitting something for our website. Obviously as it's not an encyclopedia, you could write something with a bit more of a personal slant and more of an opinion.
If you've got any piece that you think would be appropriate or you'd like to write one, then hit me back with your ideas and I'll respond ASAP. I'm flexible as to what I put up there, but really the aim is stuff that's accessible and informative, and useful for people who want to find out more about Cameroon.
Let me know if it's something that appeals,
Best wishes
Luke Mosse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lukemosse (talk • contribs) 11:18, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Could you explain this revert? It's a duplicate of ref 34 with an invalid accessdate. Pagrashtak 17:03, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Over the last days, User:G.A.S and me have been working on a careful rewording of the intro, which we are now jointly proposing here. Since you've been recently active on WT:WAF, I think the proposal may be of interest to you and we both would appreciate your input. Also, ((BASEPAGENAME)), please forgive the timesaving templated wording. — aldebaer 20:22, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Amcaja, you can say that Speedy Gonzales is an Academy Award winning cartoon character, because one of his cartoons won an Academy Award. Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, and Pepe Lapu are all considered Academy Award Winners. *Jbill007* , 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Mr. Smithson, I see where you had speedily deleted my disputed tag on the above referenced article. I assure you I come in good faith. I also see that you had not commented on the talk page before removing this tag. I invite you to dialogue on the talk page so that we can allay each others concerns about the article. I also plan on asking that the article be reviewed to see if it merits continuing as a good article. I look forward to hearing your views, Cordially,Die4Dixie 14:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Amcaja I tried to create an account, it would not take my username. It's okay, I am not saying negative or malicious things here. I have nothing to hide and I am not popular and not seeking popularity, but accomplishment. Socrates said an unexamined life is not worth living. I say an unaccomplished life is not worth living. Anyway, I did not yet give you my theory on the Origins of the Igbo People. I simply corrected that Mbaise is not a town but made of 5 towns. And I asked if Wikipedia will be interested in offering me a grant to research and publish my theory of "The Origins of the Igbo People". Thanks. c.Ihekoronye O. Onyeulo
Amcaja, there is no 'h' in Igbo. The link www.theigbolifemagazine.com is powered by Yahoo Business. It is also available on Google or you can type igbo magazines. As for an unpublished magazine, Time and Newsweek once launched a first issue. Rome was not built in a day. Please help me by advertising in the maiden issue of the magazine. Greetings, Amcaja! You might not remember me, but at the beginning of the year I took part in a short-lived yet relevatory discussion with you, User:Wahkeenah, and User:WAVY 10, over Daffy Duck; that discussion, still available on that article's talk page, involved his voice origins and his recent resurgence. Towards the end of that discussion you advised that I sign up for an actual account, and I promised you that, if it ever came to be, I would let you know about it. Well---I took your advice. You can now refer to me officially as, not JS, but Cinemaniac. --- Cinemaniac 04:00, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Why did you post a message to my former User talk:Wahkeenah page? One thing I can assure you: "His" answer to any questions you have will be the same as "mine". Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 16:33, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Tenshi, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Tenshi is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Tenshi, please affix the template ((hangon)) to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. I've noticed you changing your entries all over Wikipedia due to your username change. Keep in mind that this is only drawing more attention to it, and that the entries will still have the previous username in the article history. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 07:33, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
whatever - but there was a whole lot of information in the intro paragraph which was basically explaning the various names of Cameroon over the years. All I did was move it into a separate section to make the intro section lighter. I didn't write any of it. and what did you do? shove it all back into the wordy intro with a flippant comment - I didn't like that OK?Istanbuljohnm (talk) 06:56, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Hello, I hope you forgive the unusual request, but I was hoping I could ask you a question about the Yoko Shimomura article. I was looking through the edit history and saw that some of the content you wrote pertained to her involvement on the Kingdom Hearts games. What I'd like to know is if you still had or remembered the reference you got that information from. If you don't, I'd more than understand as it was over 4 years ago. But if you do, I would really appreciate it as I'm trying to improve the Music of Kingdom Hearts article. Thank you for your time. (Guyinblack25 talk 23:14, 12 December 2007 (UTC))

Recently, I've submitted two articles for peer review in order to find a broad perspective on how they can be improved:
If you have time, it'd be great if you could drop by the peer review pages for each and supply your comments. Thanks, and Happy New Year! — Cinemaniac (talk • contribs) 00:41, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
