Source suggestion[edit]

Hey, hope you're well. I have added a source to your draft about Bektashism in Albania. --Maleschreiber (talk) 04:47, 7 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi Botushali. Saw that your doing a Bektashism in Albania article. In depth sources are: Albert Doja, A political history of Bektashism in Albania [2] and Harry Norris, Islam in the Balkans: religion and society between Europe and the Arab world [3]. Ger Duijzings, Religion and the Politics of Identity in Kosovo [4] also has content that covers Bektashi's in Albania and about Naim Frasheri influencing them or there abouts. Battle of Kosovo[edit]

Hello Botushali,

as you had been blocked for edit warring before and the behavior persisted for months in the Battle of Kosovo article, I'm afraid that warnings alone wouldn't help to resolve the problem. I considered full protection for a while, but that would prevent everyone from contributing to the article, and it wouldn't be reasonable to fully protect the article for a very long duration. Instead, I have now prevented AzorzaI and you from continuing; this is a partial block. It doesn't prevent you from continuing to propose and discuss changes on the article's talk page, Talk:Battle of Kosovo; other participants of the discussion can implement changes on your behalf whenever they're needed or a consensus exists. You can use ((edit partially-blocked)) to directly request uncontroversial changes.

As this is a normal block, just limited to one specific page, the appeal instructions at WP:GAB apply. However, as far as I can see, the only reason for requesting an unblock – at least for doing so early – would be an interest in continuing to edit the page directly instead of discussing it, and this has been proven to be disruptive. The block will automatically expire after three months to prevent it from being a permanent stigma, but just continuing to edit in the same way after the block expires would be reason for an indefinite re-block.

The article has a revision history dominated by two edit warriors, and I'd like others to have a chance to edit the article without your direct interference. The dispute resolution policy offers ways for attracting such help: Asking for a third opinion, starting an RfC, raising the matter on noticeboards (WP:NPOVN?). When you do so, please focus on content instead of others' behavior.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:09, 4 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
