Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your edit on William Petersen, and while I'm not convinced that it's really notable enough for the article, I let it stay (others may decide to remove it though). However, you really need to cite a reliable source when you add content, especially to articles about living people. You said that you "researched the info", which is great, and the source that convinced you it was true is what you need to put in the citation. Let me know if you need help.
