Thanks much for cleaning up the vandalism on my page. I appreciate it a ton and helps me out when someone else does it for me. So again, thanks much and feel free to tell me if there is anything I can do in return! Chickyfuzz123(user talk) 01:58, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
huh, i thought wikipedia was about informing people, not being SILENT on certain subjects. it makes sense to have a couple of the MOST POPULAR cheating websites listed, or at least mentioned. perhaps there should be an article about runescape cheating instead. you can not make wikipedia jagex's puppet.
Jeremybub 01:58, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
that does not make sense... if you do not want people getting keylogged, then show them real cheats, and they will not find the viruses.you should not just pretent real cheating does not exist.
Jeremybub 02:32, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
perhaps, just the single most popular site? Jeremybub 04:03, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:ES4 DremoraMarkynaz.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Thank you for your support in my my recent RfA in which I withdrew because the oppose votes were almost equalling the supporters. I then decided to leave my account (Tellyaddict) and start fresh under a new username, however I quickly decided to reconsider after another user persuaded me not to leave the account - I am now glad I did reconsider because leaving that account and creating a new one was too hasty so I've decided to improve rather than starting again! I hope we can remain civil and that there were no negative feelings caused. Again, thanks for your support even though I withdrew it, your vote is much appreciated! Thanks for posting the proposed move of RuneScape locations to Gielinor on the RS task force main page. I forgot that I could put it there. By the way, if you have time, could you take a look at the revision of the intro for RuneScape locations I plan on adding after the move? I currently am working on it in my sandbox. The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to ((inactive)) and/or ((historical)) status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! I appreciate you taking care of my images while I was gone. Hope they helped out (and I lol at the abundant vandals and impersonators on it; Darklight Special Attack got hit hard).
If you haven't noticed yet, I've added a huge number of images lately (even ones after you updated the Fair Use credentials on the first set). I would like to see if you can deem which images are worthy to stay in the articles, especially in the main RuneScape one, as I have just recently added two equipment-based ones for the mention of graphics:
Image:Runescape equipment armours dragon-chikoritapro.gif
Image:Runescape equipment armours decorativearmour-gold.gif
I can't decide between the two, but maybe some of ya can decide which one to keep in the article, if either at all.
I can't even tell if placing that Magic Tablet breaking animation is appropriate lol.
Thanks again for the help. Tarikochi 01:03, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
No problem keeping your images free of "RUNESCAPE SUX LOLOLOLOL!!!!111one!1". Those annoying vandals get everywhere. :-)
I've had a look at those new uploads; I think Image:Runescape equipment armours dragon-chikoritapro.gif would be the best to keep, since dragon is more well-known. Still, its your call.
I might move some of the images related to transport or teleportation to Gielinor. Just seems more appropriate, plus the main article is looking a little odd at low resolutions. Cheers, CaptainVindaloo t c e 19:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
I know you're mostly interested in Runescape. But I run into a lot of suspecting sockpuppets lately. I want some opinions other than myself to see if some users' editing behaviour acting like a sockpuppet. Please take a look at Eastman Chemical Company and go to history of the page. Try take a look at the contributions of all those without userpage. It's very supicious that all of them edit only this and solely this article. What is your opinion? A group of interested individuals or an individual using sockpuppets? OhanaUnitedTalk page 01:26, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello,
I feel that anyone could just find a picture of Andrew from the net, then post into Wikipedia, claiming that the photo is their own. Reading Talk:Andrew Gower, I assume that there are photos of him all around the net indeed.
There should be at least a note on who took the picture, if not the picture uploader himself. At the moment, the only descriptions are the dual-license + an obvious summary. I was expecting to see something like where did the image come from.
If in doubt, the source tag may be removed, and I won't object it. But I think that in that case, a discussion should be opened at Image_talk:Andrew Gower.jpg, about what actions should be made in order for the picture to stay in Wikipedia. ~Iceshark7 (talk) 12:13, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
It would be appreciated if you contribute to this discussion regarding the appropriateness of this image. Thanks. Tarikochi 00:41, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
I'll give it some thought. I'm trying to get out of the RS series now, to be honest. I don't need the extra stress it's placing on me (more than an article about a computer game should be able to) at this point in time, unfortunately. It may be better to ask the current contributors. Sorry I took my time responding by the way. I've been on wikibreak due to - in order - christmas, net connection problems, exams and daft timetabling leaving me too tired to edit WP reliably, so I've only been checking in every few days. Hello CaptainVindaloo, I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. Hi,
As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.
We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.
You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or ((User WPVG)) somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in the recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Andrew Gower (4th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Dear CaptainVindaloo,
You are receiving this message because either [[Category:WikiProject Video games members]] or ((User WPVG))
is somewhere in your userspace, and you are currently listed in the "Unknown" section on the project's member list.
The member list is meant to provide a clearer picture of active membership. It is recommended that you update your status if you plan to regularly:
Members listed in the "Unknown" section will be removed from the membership list and category at the end of January 2010. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on SWAT 3.
While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and edit wars may be slow-moving, spanning weeks or months. Edit wars are not limited to 24 hours.
If you are unclear how to resolve a content dispute, please see dispute resolution. You are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus.
If you feel your edits might qualify as one of the small list of exceptions, please apply them with caution and ensure that anyone looking at your edits will come to the same conclusion. If you are uncertain, seek clarification before continuing. Quite a few editors have found themselves blocked for misunderstanding and/or misapplying these exceptions. Often times, requesting page protection or a sockppuppet investigation is a much better course of action.
Continued edit warring on SWAT 3 or any other article may cause you to be blocked without further notice. Toddst1 (talk) 17:58, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Run and gun (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
You uploaded or restored , File:RuneScape inverted phat.gif, but for various reasons did not add an ((information)) block, or indicate your (user) name on the file description page. Media uploaded to Wikipedia needs information on the SPECIFIC authorship and source of files, to ensure that it complies with copyright laws in various jurisdictions.
If it's entirely your own work, please include ((own)) in the relevant source field, amend the ((information)) added by a third party, ensuring that your user name (or name you want used for attribution) is clear in the author field, and change the license to an appropriate "self" variant (if such a license is not already used). You should also add an |author= parameter to the license tag, to assist reviews and image patrollers. You can also add |claimed=yes
and an |author=
to the ((media by uploader)) or ((presumed_self)) tag if it is present to indicate that you've acknowledged the image, and license shown (and updated the ((information)) where appropriate).
If it's not entirely your own work, then please update the source and authorship fields, so that they accurately reflect the source and authors of the original work(s), as well as the derivative you created. You should also not use a "self" license unless the work is entirely you own. Media that is incorrectly claimed as self or ((own)), will eventually be listed at Files for Discussion or deleted, unless it's full status is entirely clear to other contributors, reviewers and image patrollers.
Whilst this notification, relates to a single media upload, it would also be appreciated if you could ensure that appropriate attribution exists for other media you uploaded, You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
It's okay to remove or strike this message once the issue has been resolved :).
