Sorry but feel I can't get the grasp of this at all - the process seems to be more important than the content - please remove everything, thanks EverydayRecords (talk) 12:51, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re Jade Adams entry[edit]

Hi, have just got notification that you've marked the Jade Adams page that we've created as:

It is proposed that this article be deleted because of the following concern: Does not appear to meet WP:NMG

We are quite new to this having only created one page before (in WikiMusic).

We're currently in the process today of adding other entries that will link with this page (Jade Adams) if it stays.

Please could you advise how we can appeal against this entry being deleted?

The artist (Jade Adams) is a relative newcomer to recording but is a notable UK theatre/light entertainment performer. She has a Worldwide release out on Monday & is UK radio playlisted.

The main pages that we are in the process of adding today hopefully are the:

Record Company entry: (Everyday Records) Independent Record Company established 1991, member of BPI, IFPI etc - Director member of the Brits Voting Academy - countless Worldwide airplay

Producers entry: (Helen Walker) Musician, composer, songwriter, producer - Several albums credits + numerous film, stage & TV score credits+ IMDB listed

If these entries are approved would they not add to the significance of the Jade Adams entry as they are cross referenced?

Any help would be very much appreciated, as we are still getting used to the protocol etc,

Look forward to hearing from you, Mike EverydayRecords (talk) 13:24, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You can challenge a proposed deletion request by removing the line starting with ((dated prod from the article. Note that this does not automatically prevent the article from deletion, but any deletion would have to go through a 5-day community discussion. Stifle (talk) 16:31, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
