GA/username[edit]

Hello FentanylEnjoyer. I noticed your edits to Wikipedia:Good articles/Music; unfortunately, I have had to revert them because simply adding an article to the page is not enough for the article to be recognized as a GA. In order to make that happen, you need to follow the nomination instructions on this page after ensuring that the article meets the good article criteria. You should only nominate an article if you have contributed substantially to it; "drive-by" nominations are strongly discouraged, although theoretically you could obtain permission from the article's primary contributor(s) to do so.

Furthermore, while Wikipedia's username policy does not explicitly prohibit drug references in usernames (indeed, we've had at least one respected administrator whose username contains a marijuana reference), I'm a little concerned that your username could cause disharmony in the editing community amidst the ongoing fentanyl epidemic in the United States. Whether you keep or change the username is your prerogative, but it's something you may want to consider. Cheers, Dylan620 (he/him • talkedits) 02:36, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
