Hello, I'm Katieh5584. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Template:USStat/sandbox, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Katieh5584 (talk) 16:51, 17 March 2014 (UTC)

I reverted some of your edits, and I want to tell you directly why I did it so we can discuss it if you disagree. You added "See also…" as a Hatnote on several articles that lists Acts of Congress. I think that hatnotes are useful if readers need an explanation as to why they're on that article or perhaps to direct them to the correct article they were looking for. However, if you want readers to go to the "next" or "previous" article in a series, it's best not to clutter up the hatntoes and just leave it in a "See also" section lower in the page. What do you think? (No problem. I was simply reusing the hatnote that was on one of the pages because I thought it was a good idea. Being in the "See also" section is fine. I'd like to keep going using http://legisworks.org/sal/saldir.html - the text of the TOCs are available back to 1891 (59th Congress). Having consistency would be good. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hey, nice work on all the acts of Congress pages! Question: do you generate these by hand, or does some sort of bot or script help you out? I ask because I'm engaged in doing one for the 104th Congress, and it is quite laborious... Neutralitytalk 19:40, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. How can I verify if this act has been cited in public law? I'd like to update the Low Volume Vehicles Manufacturers page but it's not clear if this is now in public law. Thanks. Expandinglight5 (talk) 05:27, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
