Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.
You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text ((unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~)) at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text ((unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~)) at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 00:10, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Your reason here Hi Diannaa I don't really understand all this. I am the current secretary of the club concerned and have been for a number of years. The content you referred to as being copyright was written by myself several years ago for a website we no longer use which appears to be archived somewhere. This is all too complicated all I wanted to do was to record for posterity's sake the history that I have managed to unearth for a club which has no actual records. Don't know if I can be bothered adding any more.....! Wishawsecretary (talk) 15:41, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Decline reason:
As the block message says, Wikipedia does not allow "role accounts" that are coupled to a position instead of an individual. What would happen with the account if you ceased being the secretary of the club? Would you continue using this account? Would your replacement inherit it? The latter explicitly is not allowed; only one person may have access to an account, ever. Thus we must ask you to request a change of username (see the block message above on how to do so; you'll have to replace the "new username" part with a new username for yourself, not your position). If you want the username to be associated with Wishaw, a username such as "John at Wishaw" would be acceptable. Huon (talk) 20:46, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Wishawsecretary, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Wishaw Juniors F.C. has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa🍁 (talk) 00:17, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your reason here I can understand the rationale behind the username thing and I will have a wee think on what I want to do next time I have content which I think is relevant. However, I haven't had a reply re the deletion of content supposedly copyrighted to a defunct website. As stated previously I originated the content concerned and ran the website until we let the subscription lapse. However Wishawsecretary (talk) 23:01, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Decline reason:
Firstly, please don't use the unblock template unless you actually wish to request an unblock by suggesting a new username that agrees with the username policy. Secondly, Diannaa left a lengthy explanation of copyright on Wikipedia above. Of particular interest to you is the paragraph that starts, "If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text..." In short, we need proof of copyright ownership (and maybe the owner isn't you but the club concerned - in that case, are you authorized to sign away their rights?), and we need proof that the content indeed is released under a free license compatible with Wikipedia. The link given by Diannaa above leads to a page that has more details. Huon (talk) 09:56, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Your reason here non personal identification and non group etc association
Accept reason:
Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Vanjagenije(talk) 00:21, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"Steet"? Just checking... Peridon (talk) 17:35, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
((unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here Well spotted Peridon it should read KennedyStreetKid - thanks))
I've amended the first request for name change and nowikied the second one. Peridon (talk) 18:28, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
When you want to make a comment here, just type it in without the unblock template - you can indent (like I'm doing) by typing a : or more at the start, and you should sign with ~~~~ to get your sig and the time stamp - like this: Peridon (talk) 18:31, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
