Speedy deletion nomination of P.t. ricci[edit]

A tag has been placed on P.t. ricci requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding ((hangon)) to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Hubert Davis, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube or Sci-Hub, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. Adeletron 3030 (talkedits) 17:28, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't linked anything to anywhere. What I did was upload a new image onto the page that is able to be used freely. Mikeburke4 (talk) 14:02, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If your image uploads can be freely used anywhere, please submit the relevant statement or disclaimer through c:COM:VRT. Though I have my doubts since you've uploaded at least one Getty Images photo claiming it as yours. Adeletron 3030 (talkedits) 15:07, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop uploading other people's photographs and pretending they're yours. Adeletron 3030 (talkedits) 04:06, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Is every photograph on Wikipedia uploaded by the photographer? That's amazing we have so many people who take pictures and then are able to update the pages. I had no idea our population was so multi talented. Mikeburke4 (talk) 14:43, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you have evidence that other editors are lying about image licensing information, then please point them out. Can you show me an example? The fact that you think other users are lying doesn’t mean you should also lie too. That’s weird logic. Adeletron 3030 (talkedits) 15:56, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
