History of scholarship on Jewish-Christian gospels

PiCo, I propose that we create a new article on the historiography of scholarship on the Jewish-Christian gospels and use this section to create the stub for it. We can use the references I compiled to start building the article. What do you think? Ignocrates (talk) 16:59, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Editor of the Week

Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for integrity and judgment in a contentious area of the encyclopedia. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:John Carter submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

This editor just recently returned from a retirement, although he still has the "retired" template on his page, which he first put up shortly after having received several insults from another editor, who has himself since then been banned for his egregious misconduct. Multiple editors have, I think, described him as one of the two or three most valuable editors we have had for dealing with the Christian Bible, early Christianity, and that basic topic area, which is, unfortunately, one that attracts a lot of POV pushers and a lot of other FRINGE type theories and content. Unfortunately, given the sometimes hotly contested nature of that topic area, it is one that can and has caused a lot of editors to burn out and leave. He has also always shown a good deal of character, integrity, and good judgment in his editing. I think it would probably be hard to overemphasize the value of PiCo's contributions to wikipedia, and I think it would be very reasonable if we were to perhaps indicate our thanks to him for his efforts in this way.
