Welcome to Wikipedia, Pupusareawesome! I'm Queen of Hearts, and I've been assigned as your mentor. About half of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.

Again, welcome to Wikipedia! QueenofHearts 20:57, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

St. Joseph, Pennsylvania moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to St. Joseph, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 06:53, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

image formatting[edit]

Hi. It's good that you're adding images to articles that don't have them, but you seem to be consistently using the wrong image format when you add them to infoboxes. Infoboxes have a "built-in" feature that allows you to add just the title of the image file without any of the other control characters that are used for images that appear in an article's mainspace. If you'd like to see what I mean, then compare your version to the corrected version by viewing the edit history at articles like Rhathymus, Acontista brevipennis, and Suranagi. Again, it's fine to add images, but when you add them to infoboxes, please try to use the correct format. Thanks! Dyanega (talk) 16:03, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I should add that you don't need to be adding "image_alt" captions to articles, and that if an image is of a species of organism that is the subject of the article, you generally don't need a caption at all. See [edit], for example. Of course, if males and females look different, and the photo is identified to sex, then it's good to have a caption, and also if an article is about a genus and the image is identified to species, then link it, like I did at Melanospermum. La música popular de méxico moved to draftspace[edit]

The article, as written, does not indicate how the book is notable, a necessary requirement for any Wikipedia article. As such, I have moved the page to Draft:La música popular de méxico so you may work on improving it, without worrying about the page being deleted. February 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi Pupusareawesome! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 14:32, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please also note when adding images to infobox, you don't need the filename, not the whole File: template, as per WP:IBI. Thank you. -Kj cheetham (talk) 13:09, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, Pupusareawesome. Thank you for your work on Chlorophthalmus basiniger. Klbrain, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

There is recognition, at least in WoRMS, and also recognized at Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes. It's an early listing here, but seems reasonable.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with ((Re|Klbrain)). Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)
