Please note that "None", ".", and other meaningless edit summaries are the same as providing no edit summary. Please review WP:EDITSUMMARY. Kimen8 (talk) 13:08, 20 December 2023 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Please note that "None" and "." and the like are not useful edit summaries. Having useful edit summaries that briefly but accurately describe your changes saves other editors from having to dig into the details of every diff on articles they are interested in. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have repeatedly been asked to use edit-summaries, and have continued to use useless ones like "none". If you are not doing something constructive to the article, then do not make the edit. If you are making an edit, it is false to say you are doing nothing. Changing spaces in infoboxes just clutters up everyone else's watchlists and is therefore disruptive with no benefit. Please stop. DMacks (talk) 22:56, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
And finally, please stop marking content-edits as 'minor'. That is not allowed. See Help:Minor edit for more information. DMacks (talk) 22:59, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Dipropylcyclopentylxanthine. DMacks (talk) 17:33, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Please stop marking every edit of yours as minor. Only mark those that are actually minor, following Help:Minor edit. Thanks GrayStormTalk Sandbox 14:53, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
I came by because I noticed you have been editing some health-related articles. Thanks for that work. A bunch of us hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. You're welcome to join us if that's an area of editing that interests you. It's a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style. Feel free to put the group's page on your watchlist, or stop by to say hello some time. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:39, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Hi Yungocdy! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Oxazepam that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. If you have any questions then please let me know, and please don't be scared off from further editing becuase of this message! It's not a big deal; everyone has to learn how Wikipedia works at the beginning. Thanks! Vontheri (talk) 19:38, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
Hello Yungocdy! Your additions to Caffeine dependence have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Our policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 06:10, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
One of your recent edits has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Oxymorphone, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Subcutaneous and Buccal. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:59, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi Yungocdy! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at CYP2D6 that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. I get the impression that maybe you have the misconception that it is required to check either "minor edit" or "watch this page". You can make an edit without checking either of these boxes, and in fact, that is the way most edits are made. Please only check "minor edit" if it is, for example, to correct a typo (such as to change the misspelling "teh" to "the") or to remove unambigious vandalism. Probably 99% of the correct uses of the "minor edit" checkbox will be for one of those two reasons. If you have any questions then please feel free to ask me or any admin, or you can ask at the Village Pump: WP:PUMP Where you should be able to find people who can help you out. Thanks for you contributions to Wikipedia, just please keep in mind the intended purpose of "minor edits". Thank you! Vontheri (talk) 08:39, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
