Uttaranchal University, a university located at Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Near Indian Military Academy, The university was established in 2003 .[2][3] It was established under Shri Shushila Devi education foundation act of a State University and UGC act under 12(f) with affiliation to AICTE . It has a Campus Located on NH-72. The university is constituted with the merger of three educational institutions, namely Law College, Dehradun (LCD), Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT) and Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM).

History

The University is promoted by Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies and Research, a society registered under Societies Registration Act 1860.

Uttaranchal University is located in the Doon Valley and consists of 170 acres (69 ha)
