WRCY (1590 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic country format. Licensed to Mt. Vernon, Indiana, United States, the station serves the Evansville area. The station is currently owned by The Original Company, Inc., features programming from ABC Radio.[1]

WRCY runs several sporting events, including Mount Vernon High School football, basketball, and baseball. It also carries Purdue University football and basketball, along with selected NASCAR and IndyCar races. WRCY began broadcasting in 1955.[2]

On December 19, 2016 WRCY changed their format from country to sports, with programming from Fox Sports Radio.[3]

On July 25, 2022 WRCY changed their format from sports to classic country, branded as "AM 1590 & FM 98.9 WPIW" (new WPIW calls pending).[4]
