WYFZ is a non-commercial radio station in Belleview, Florida, serving the Ocala, Florida area on 91.3 FM. It is part of the Bible Broadcasting Network, along with Gainesville-based WYFB, Lakeland-based WYFO, Port St. Joe-based WDBW-LP and Tarpon Springs-based WYFE. WYFZ's format is religious programming.
The station was assigned call sign WWKO by the Federal Communications Commission on December 19, 1997. It switched to the current WYFZ call letters on December 1, 2005.[1]
In April 2006, the station was sold to Bible Broadcasting Network (Lowell Davey, president) by Walker Info and Ed Institute Inc. (Scott Walker, VP) for a reported sale price of $250,000.[2]
