Bonus points

[edit]

These are the only cases where content may score additional points. Other than these distinctions, all content is equal. Bonus points will generally be calculated and awarded by the coordinators. Any mistakes or issues in the awarding of bonus points should be reported on the 2024 Developing Countries WikiContest talk page.

From relation to developing countries

[edit]

Higher level articles about countries will receive extra bonus multipliers. These bonuses will be higher for countries marked as "least developed" by the UN. More examples of second-level country articles can be found at Wikipedia:Sample country outline; as a broad guideline, the top two bullet-point levels will be considered second-level. Edge cases should be discussed on the Contest talk page.

Country relation bonus points
No.  Level Multiplier (bonus%) Example
Second-level country article 1.5× (+50%) Politics of Bolivia
Main country article 2× (+100%) Namibia
Second-level country article (least developed) 2x (+100%) Culture of Ethiopia
Main country article (least developed) 2.5× (+150%) Myanmar
