Delete – Fails WP:NFOOTBALL as he does not play in a WP:FPL, and even though article currently states he plays for national team he has never played for senior national team so he is not notable for that reason. Keep Subject won a Bronze Medal in the Football at the 2014 Asian Games even through he did not actually play for Iraq as per Asian Games 2014 Website lists him as a Bronze Medal Winner . Just to clarify in teams sports the entire team is awarded medals not just the playing 11 as in olden days including the famous case of Jimmy Greaves not winning a World Cup medal in 1966 as he was not in the playing 11 ,he only got it later.Asian Games is world's 2nd largest Multi sports event after the Olympics .Asian Games Medal winner is clearly notable.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 23:31, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Football at the Asian Games is a youth tournament, meaning it is explicitly excluded as a source of notability per WP:NFOOTBALL. His minimal involvement in the games, unsurprisingly, has also not generated sufficient coverage to meet WP:GNG. Sir Sputnik (talk) 23:56, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is the same age limit in football competitions as with the Olympic Games, three overage players are allowed among each squad in the Football at the 2014 Asian Games – Men. It is a not youth tournament as players over 23 actually played in the game and further Football is only part of 2014 Asian Games with over 36 Asian Games sports and a medal winner in the Asian games is notable .Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 03:55, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - Fails WP:NFOOTY as has not played senior international football nor played in a fully professional league. No indication that subject has garnered significant reliable coverage for any other achievements to satisfy GNG. The arguments above which appear to rest on the Olympics and the Asian Games being for the same age group are unconvincing, the Olympics are generally recognised as one of the pinnacles of sporting achievement, the Asian Games is merely a regional youth tournament.
