The result was delete. NFOOTY is a presumption of GNG. This has been challenged here. Whilst numerous references have been added to the article, they are almost all primary sources or routine match reporting. It seems quite clear that not only does this player not pass GNG and that in principle it is hard to imagine a scenario where a player who has played only 23 minutes of fully professional football could possibly pass GNG, but also that there is consensus that technically passing the SNG is not enough. Played a single season for the Riverhounds, playing 23 minutes in one match. Has since retired to a career in banking/auto-dealership/high-school coaching.   WP:REFBOMBing the article does not establish notability (though the present article does have a few BLP violations by using non-reliable or un-sourced material). The 20 nominal sources in the 8 April version - either don't mention the subject, mention him in passing, aren't reliable, or aren't independent (e.g. employer) - or a combination thereof. If you are asserting this subject passes WP:GNG (NFOOTY merely creating a presumption - a weak one here given that the subject here had 23 minutes of play and has since moved on to other pursuits (as well as non-pro play / high school coaching) - please provide "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" - say 3-4 in-depth reliable and independent sources. • Delete – Per recent consensus that one NFOOTY-qualifying game doesn't make a player notable in the absence of non-routine, significant coverage from independent reliable sources. Compare these recent AfDs [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10], all 1–3 NFOOTY games with no GNG that resulted in deletion consensus, with these recent AfDs [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] which had five or fewer documented NFOOTY games but were keeps or no consensus because of available WP:SIGCOV. • Delete - As per cases drawn by Levivich above with deletion consensus for multiple recent similar AfDs. Playing 23 minutes in one match during one season, with very little coverage from secondary sources does not make one notable, especially when much of the coverage is from his subsequent life as local high school coach.
