The result was delete. The delete arguments based on the notability guidelines are stronger than the keep arguments that mostly are not based on the current guidelines. - Keep - Even disregarding her presence in the World Cup finals squad, there are some sources out there; interview regarding her callup to the Africa Women's Championship last year is one I can find pretty easily. This means she was in the squad for two fairly major tournaments (even if the AWC isn't that large on the international scale), so common sense says we should have a basic article. if she plays for the teams. She only featured in her side’s 2-1 home (Oshogbo Queens) win over Rivers Angels and that has nothing to do with the National team, I mean the Falcon. She said ""I’m grateful to coach Okon for inviting me and I promise not to disappoint. I also want to thank my teammates for their supports. Nigerians should expect a better me because I am going to give my best.". She further said "It’s great news for me, meaning I am doing well in the local league. I now have a chance to compete with my mentor [Precious] Dede." According to the source, meaning she only plays in the local league, which also makes her to fails WP:NFOOTY. The source does not says she had played rather it says, she was call-up to play. If you can point out a single source that says she has played for the Falcon, Nigeria National Team or its equivalent, I will gladly incline to "Keep". - I am aware of that. However, given that there is one source on her that I found easily, I don't see the point in deleting this at this point. - Just be patient. Whether or not this article should have been created—and I'm not assuming it should have been—there is absolutely, positively no reason that you can't hold off on a decision until the tournament is over. WP:NOTPAPER—the servers won't break if you wait. 24 hours after the tournament is over, or her squad is eliminated, or she plays, you'll get your answer, quick enough. - Delete: subject of the article fails WP:NFOOTY at the moment. been the part of two major tournament squads does not translate into passing WP:NFOOTY. She has to play for the teams to pass WP:NFOOTY and since she hasn't played yet, she clearly fails WP:NFOOTY. I incline to consider the article's deletion for now and when she plays for these teams, perhaps soon someone with no WP:COI, who knows how to write an encyclopedic articles will write about her here. She will be notable in the future or she will play in the 2015, Women's World Cup and therefore "will pass WP:NFOOTY " is usually not a valid argument at WP:AfDs and its not a valid reason to "Keep" articles on Wikipedia either. - Delete - Fails WP:NFOOTY as has not played senior international football nor played in a fully professional league. Will change vote to keep if she plays while this AfD is open. No indication that subject has garnered significant reliable coverage for any other achievements to satisfy GNG. The source noted above as an interview (which is in itself, very brief) is the only comment about her I could see in the first fifteen pages of a google search that was not a squad listing. I agree with Nfitz that being an uncapped reserve keeper at the finals of a major international tournament is relatively significant, and although not notable in itself per consensus, should prompt a search for GNG-level sources, but I can't see a great deal out there.
