Speedy keep. This is a very odd nomination indeed; perhaps another time, the nominator should consider the requirements of WP:BEFORE. Subject has played on the winning side in a European final, as noted above, and has more than 250 appearances in the Italian Serie A, one of the world's strongest football leagues. Comment, I should add some detail as to why I nominated this article for deletion. The original article had a solitary line of information which could clearly be interpreted from the 1961 CWC final article (the sentence basically stated he played in the final) therefore it was irrelevant and in no way informative for Wikipedia. There were also no sources. At least now a helpful editor has rectified the problem. In light of the new sourced material I would not have nominated the article for deletion.
