A Russian artist who I think does not meet the notability guideline for creative professionals. The article does not mention anything that would make this person notable, and the references are to YouTube, LiveJournal, and what appears to be a blog. There may be some Russian sources out there that might confer notability, which is why I'm bringing this to AfD. Bláthnaid talk 19:45, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine but technically there is no way to withdraw the article other than to delete it from the WP mainspace. Since you are the article's creator and since nobody else substantially edited it, if you do not object to its deletion now, you can either blank the article's page or to place the ((db-author)) tag at the top of the article. If you want to keep working on improving the article in the meantime, you can copy its content in your user-space (that is, as a subpage of your user-page) and work on it there.
