I don't think this is a WP:NPROF pass, unless someone in theology has some good arguments otherwise? Does not pass WP:NAUTHOR - the one single-authored book (Wealth and Poverty) has at least three academic reviews, so it passes WP:NBOOK, but it's just the one. Keep per WP:PROF #1. In fact, 95 citations is very high for biblical studies. (I also see a 72 and a 59.) His standing in the scholarly community is best demonstrated by the fact that he is asked to write articles for major dictionaries. (See the list here.)
