Maybe I'm a little confused on the correct process, but I was relying on the Twinkle script for proper templates, and I didn't see one strictly for merging. I understand. The best venue for merge is Wikipedia:Proposed mergers (((merge to))/((merge from))). You'd start a discussion on the List talk page, and tag every involved article for proposed merge. Weak merge, but preferably to more than a list entry. While it may not have enough notability for a dedicated article, I'm pretty sure it's more notable than OpenEmu and some of those NES emulators.
