Strong keep. Not local but regional. Member and vice president of statewide education board. Member of prominent New Orleans family. Article fully sourced (eight newspaper articles) and establishes notability. Even if considered "local" he can qualify under 2. Actually, the sourcing is extremely poor unfortunately. Disclosure and election statements on government websites are not relevant. Sources about family members do not seem relevant either. AusLondonder (talk) 17:54, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

~~Delete~~ - A richly appointed article, but for all the polish of its prose, what we have here is a politician never elected to high city, state, or large city office, thus failing the WP:POLITICIAN high bar to inclusion. Seems to be a political mover and shaker in the campaign contributions department, but that is not a field of endeavor that is widely chronicled in the press.
