City councillor with no properly sourced indication that he's attained sufficient notability to get past WP:POLITICIAN — article cites only a single local community weekly newspaper for sourcing, and city councillors in non-metropolitan cities do not qualify for articles on here just for being city councillors (and no, the fact that he's running for mayor this year doesn't boost his notability, as candidates do not qualify for articles just for being candidates either.) He'll certainly qualify for an article if he wins election to the mayoralty, but he's not entitled to keep this article in the meantime. Delete. Bearcat (talk) 18:17, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
