• Comment. As vice chancellor (in a system where the nominally higher positions are ceremonial) he appears to pass the "highest-level academic post" subclause of WP:PROF#C8. However I am highly dubious that Salem University, Lokoja would count as a "major academic institution" as required by the rest of that criterion. The "Major" in WP:PROF#C6 doesn't refers to "Size", that might be your own personal interpretation. In my own interpretation, it means a duly accredited and approved degree awarding university by the National Universities Commission (in Nigeria, for example).   Let me point to you that, per significant coverages in multiple independent reliable sources, subject of the article obviously meet WP:GNG. In reaction to your argument, Salem University is a Major degree awarding university in Nigeria like National Open University of Nigeria, Covenant University, Achievers University and Afe Babalola University (in private universities category). Multiple reliable sources established the university as a Major university in Nigeria. The University was approved by the National Universities Commission per this punch Newspaper which also stressed that the university had successfully conducted more than one convocation per the same source. I also find this [this Vanguard Newspaper, The Sun Newsppaper, News Nigeria, this one, The Nigerian Voice Newspaper, Information Nigeria. A report by http://www.4icu.org in 2012, ranked Salem university as 63 of top best university in Nigeria above several Major Federal University in Nigeria per this source. If all this does not count to you, I may want to assume your argument is based on personal opinion and that is not in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your argument and references establishes the fact that Salem University is an accredited university, but says nothing about this professor in question. Isakaba, WP:NOTINHERITED does not applies here. The professor in question is the Vice-Chancellor of the university, which made him to clearly passes WP:PROF#C6 which stipulated that a person may be notable if The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed academic post at a major academic institution or major academic society.
