The result was redirect to WCCO-TV. I just need a consensus for one target article and the nominator had suggested a different one than WCCO-TV. - Redirect to WCCO-TV Take what I said at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/K34HO-D, rinse and repeat, check RabbitEars, and you'll find this station has changed its input (our article is currently wrong) and thus the appropriate redirect target. - Redirect to WCCO-TV: it is the current primary station (and K33DB-D is mentioned there), translators don't exactly have independent notability (even before the larger weeding out of never-notable LPTVs), and the only semblance of "separate local programming" is the technicality of the very nature of Local on the 8s (it carried The Weather Channel before switching to KMSP-TV and still later WCCO). - Merge with WCCO-TV: If you check RabbitEars, and type the call sign of the station, K33DB-D, its clear it's output of programming is WCCO, NOT KMSP-TV. I say this because, just like what WcQuidditch said, the article for WCCO on its Translators subsection includes K33DB. Also, the article (the Alexandra, Minnesota article not WCCO) is outdated by now.
- Also, just to also point out is that it would make sense for KMSP, if it wasn't clear that in 2017, WCCO shuted down KCCO, its translator in Alexandria in the 2016 United States wireless spectrum auction. Also, this is not an Innovate/HC2 type of station, so it's best to redirect to WCCO and not KMSP. mer764KCTV5 (He/Him | t • c) 20:17, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
