Monumental crosses contains 12 crosses, while List of tallest crosses contains 32 entries and additional information like the construction year. Only 9 entries are in common. So it's no duplicate.

You may have a look at de:Liste von hohen Kreuzen (list of high crosses). This is an updated version of List of tallest crosses, 100% verified and referenced and with additional information. --PM3 (talk) 21:43, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So I think this list should not be deleted, but both lists should be merged - after chosing some meaningful definition. "Monumental crosses" is not clearly definable, and "tallest crosses" is OR, as the list is incomplete. --PM3 (talk) 00:28, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. Only source in the article does not appear to be reliable. The whole list is a general collection of inferior entries with little to no notability. Most of the important ones are already covered in Monumental crosses. Ajf773 (talk) 01:41, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Both articles, List of tallest crosses and Monumental crosses, are problematic. The least worst solution for now would be to merge to the earlier, pre-existing list (Monumental crosses). Maybe the creator of List of tallest crosses hadn't noticed the pre-existing list? As it is, List of tallest crosses looks like it's based on a personal website which carries no authority. Are we sure these are the tallest? All that being said, I'm not at all convinced Monumental crosses is the best name for an article. There's no description or definition of "monumental cross". Though the term is often used elsewhere, it generally means 'a cross used as a monument', rather than 'gigantic cross'. Sionk (talk) 06:08, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
