I grant that this might have made some sense in 2005, when the number of articles we had about television series was a lot smaller than it is today. But now, the topic is simply too massive — to even approach completeness, it would have to contain tens of thousands more entries than it does. Lists of television series constrained for some characteristic, such as genre or network or nationality or decade, would be legitimate, and many such lists already exist — but a unified master list of all television series that have Wikipedia articles is just too massive to be maintainable at all.
