Article made by an SPA, no sources, and I'm unable to find anything to so much as verify its existence. While I'm not going to say with certainty that it's a hoax, I wouldn't discount the possibility. Considering the Mauser C96 was selling very well to begin with, and a magazine-fed variant with the same ammunition capacity would confer almost no benefit, I don't see why Mauser would choose to make it in the first place.
