We might be looking at a 10 year old hoax. Creator just made this article in 2011 and disappeared afterwards. Another editor said that there's no such mountain back in 2011 since Nueva Ecija is a relatively flat province but was reverted.

I ran the mountain's names and "Lakan Gakan" in Google, Google Books, Google News, News Archives and Scholar but did not found anything substantial.

Finally, I've checked Google Maps and its seems that the current coordinates are not registered as a mountain there. There's a nearby Mount Kasahingan though. Lenticel (talk) 02:01, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
