Unless there is further sourcing/examples of Neo-Babouvism as an ideology outside of Gracchus Babeuf (and supposed 1848 neo-Jacobin revolutionaries that I will assume is true despite a notable lack of source), the ideology's page should be deleted, or atleast redirected to Gracchus Babeuf Marissa TRS (talk) 19:43, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Keep WP:NEXIST; term frequently used amongst theorists (eg Balibar see p.132) and historians (eg Hobsbawn see p.25) to characterise currents in revolutionary communist politics from the 1830s (especially in France, but also Belgium). There's a three page (pp.43-45) discussion of Neo-Babouvism in Erik van Ree's Boundaries of Utopia - Imagining Communism from Plato to Stalin (Routledge:2015); one page (pp.174-175) in Sander Gilman's Yale Companion to Jewish Writing and Thought in German Culture, 1096-1996 (Yale UP:1997); Stéphanie Roza's chapter "Communist and Neo-Babouvist readings of the Enlightenment and the French Revolution" in Remembering Early Modern Revolutions England, North America, France and Haiti (Routledge:2018). This from just a few minutes in Google Books in English, in French (where the term néo-babouvisme is extremely widespread), here's just two: Gilbert Achcar, "Libéralisme et néo-babouvisme aux sources du marxisme" (Liberalism and neo-babouvism as roots of Marxism), L'Homme et la société (1999:132-133), pp. 53-80 or Alain Maillard's 352 page book from 1999 entitled: La Communauté des Egaux.
