The result was merge to List of The Sopranos characters. Sandstein 06:16, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
At the risk of getting wacked, the number of articles devoted to the show The Sopranos has become an issue. I nominate unsourced “Phil Leotardo” [1], a character on the show, for deletion or merger into one of the many, many other articles with repetitive information about the show. He is a representative of a longer list of secondary characters from the show (not the actors) receiving separate article treatment that includes: Carlo Gervasi [2] Little Paulie Germani [3] Benny Fazio [4] Butch DeConcini [5] Rosalie Aprile [6] Little Carmine [7] Vito Spatafore [8] Patsy Parisi [9] Johnny Sack [10] Charmaine Bucco [11] Eugene Pontecorvo [12] Ralph Cifaretto [13] Bobby Baccalieri [14] Artie Bucco [15] Furio Giunta [16]
The Sopranos article itself is long and detailed. [17] Separate articles are devoted to single episodes of the show. [18] More articles connected to the series include “list of The Sopranos episodes” [19], a synopsis of every episode over 7 years; “Sopranos timeline” [20]; and “Soprano crime family.” [21] There is one “List of Sopranos characters”[22] and a separate article for “List of characters from The Sopranos in the Soprano crime family”[23]. There is a separate “List of Characters from the Sopranos – friends and family”[24] and another separate article for “List of characters from The Sopranos in the Lupertazzi crime family”[25]. The credited 25 primary actors each have separate articles in addition to each’s character receiving a separate article. Each supporting character within the show has a separate article. Many of these articles mirror what is available at HBO.com. WP:Not Other aspects of the show receiving separate article treatment include “FBI on The Sopranos” [26] and “Soprano Family Tree”[27].
Wikipedia is beginning to look more like the book, The Sopranos Encyclopedia. [28] Eudemis (talk) 19:28, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
