Non-notable academic, fails WP:NPROF, books listed are non-notable. User4edits (talk) 03:56, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: This is the google scholar profile: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=Z-fh2-kAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao But I was concerned to see most of the elements referenced on this profile are not attributable to him (but to other academics under the name R Kumar) as shown by the fact they are from totally different fields such as chemistry, psychiatry, etc. I could not find the academic contributions listed on the Wikipedia page in google scholar.
- Under those circumstances, I do not think the subject passes criterium 1 of WP:ACADEMIC. JamesKH76 (talk) 15:13, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete does not meet WP:NPROF, and his google scholar profile is obviously him taking credit for other people's work. KSAWikipedian (talk) 18:42, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- With papers going as far back as the 1950s. Thank you JamesKH76. KSAWikipedian (talk) 18:44, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - Does not meet notability guidelines Proton Dental (talk) 22:58, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy Keep Google scholar automatically enlist the papers, he is Dean and meets Wikipedia guidelines, similarly as the page was kept alive after discussion previously.I love to be honest (talk) 01:52, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

- Additional comment per [1] noen of his papers have more than 1 citation. KSAWikipedian (talk) 03:39, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: There seems to be some massive discrepancies
- [] His Wikipedia says he is Dean at some Baba Mast Nath University, but the reference (2) cited shows the name only as Dr. Raj Kumar, and not Raj Kumar Yadav (most educational institutes will put full formal names).
- [] His profiles at Vidwaan (cited) and SSRN (both verified by his full name and image) show his designation as Assistant Professor at a different university -- Central University of Punjab.
- [] At the website of Central University of Punjab, he is NOT the dean, but merely an assistant professor while someone else is Dean. His full name and photo can be verified at his profile at the University website.
- Edit: On his SSRN profile he has mentioned his Wikipedia page (calling him dean at some other univ) but has not updated his affiliation (had it been changed), this rules out that the probability that he was earlier at a different university and now a dean at some other university.
- This takes me to ANI Notice on talk page of the User who created this page and their recent behaviour indicating promoting Non-notable individuals, perhaps paid. User4edits (talk) 04:45, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- He was Dean in a private university and he joined Central University of Punjab at initial level i.e. Assistant Professor. He is having 14 years experience and books are circulated 8n various libraries of different countries.I love to be honest (talk) 11:14, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- That does not explain why did you not update his Wikipedia page, despite being so closely aware about this person? User4edits (talk) 11:42, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- As my talk page received the nomination I came to know and updated. I love to be honest (talk) 12:15, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Doesn't seem to meet WP:NPROF or WP:NAUTHOR when digging into it a bit. As eluded to above, it all seems a bit suspcious too. -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:59, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- His books on worldcat shows his books are widely circulated in different countries. He has worked in two Universities as Head and in one University as Dean.I love to be honest (talk) 11:11, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Looks like he was head of a faculty, not a whole university? Any significant independant reviews of his books? -Kj cheetham (talk) 11:19, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Eight international libraries have his two major works and others are also circulated vast including Parliamentary library. [2]I love to be honest (talk) 12:03, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- 8 library holdings doesn't always mean 8 separate libraries. It might be 5, of which 3 hold both books, which doesn't seem like a lot to be to be honest. -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:02, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy Keep He has worked as Dean in a University and having 14 years experience of teaching and research. He meets academic criteria and with many books his two books are in eight reputed libraries. His page is since 2020 and nomination of deletion is equal to defamation of a reputed for person. Thousand of people know that his page is since 2020 and deletion will tarnish his academic repute. His page removal will raise many questions for him. Mamtakuhu20 (talk) 00:42, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't see how that is grounds for a speedy keep under WP:SK? -Kj cheetham (talk) 10:01, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Nominating an article for deletion is not "defamation". Approximately 70-90 articles get nominated for deletion discussions every day, it's just a normal process on Wikipedia. You are taking this way too personally. And no one "needs" a Wikipedia article. If he doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability standards, it doesn't mean that he's not good at his job it just means that he doesn't current meet Wikipedia standards. Liz Read! - Sir, where I can see the previous Afd of this page for contesting the page deletion strongly.I love to be honest (talk) 04:58, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Who said anything about a previous AFD? -Kj cheetham (talk) 08:16, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
