Dorney is a Lieutenant Colonel in the British Army and author of one book, An Active Service. He has another book coming out later this year. He fails the notability requirements of WikiProject Military history. The references in the article just briefly mentions him and none are about him. I'm unable to find any reliable references. However, he has a common name. Prod was contested because "Published author of two commercial books, as well as military career gives sufficient Notablity".
