Keep Major institution for a small town. We seem to be trending to keep those (hamlets, high schools, etc.) when their existence can be confirmed. I suspect this article would have trouble passing WP:N or WP:ORG as such, but I think it would be in the best interests of Wikipedia to document news and information producers with long continuous history.
