This discussion is a result of (what I fully admit was clumsy) addition, then withdrawal, in the Frank Duckworth AfD. In that AfD, sound arguments were, inter alia, made to Merge both articles to Duckworth-Lewis Method and to Keep both The specific notability of this article should have been tested - again, this was my fault - but it was not. While it can come across as WP:BLP1E, the fact is that he has made a lasting contribution to two forms of the game of Cricket at the international level - One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals and List A matches at the major domestic levels and therefore clearly passes the BLP1E exception "if the event is significant, and/or if the individual's role within it is substantial". Duckworth-Lewis method, the name and the usage or availability at every cricket match is significant enough to warrant the exception. -SpacemanSpiff (talk) 18:52, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
