Collegiate wrestler who's had a fairly successful career, but who doesn't appear to meet Wikipedia:Notability_(sports)#College_athletes. One article about his high school career, may be a future Olympian, but isn't there yet. Acroterion (talk) 15:36, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]


One of the requirements for notability in your list was "Have won a national award". Nickerson was 2009 NCAA Div1A National Champion at 125 pounds. In our earlier back and forth you maintained that Joe Dubuque was "probably notable" because he had been a national champ. Doesn't the same hold true for Nickerson? Also the only reason I wrote the article in the first place was because there was a link to Nickerson that led to a blank page.
