A few politicians coining an array of vaguely similar terms does not an article make. Words and terms themselves have a very high bar for notability for standalone articles (see Ain't for one example), and this doesn't come anywhere close to that. As it stands, this is a single paragraph chock full of WP:SYNTHesis, putting a bunch of wikt:WT:SOP phrases, a hashtag, etc, together into something that's kind of a WP:COATRACK about criticism of Trump's handling of the pandemic. If there's information to add to an existing article (and there sure are plenty about this already), then add it, but this doesn't deserve the redirect that was initially placed. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 13:15, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

• KEEP - The current "TrumpVirus" version (and particularly the original "TrumpVirus" article - before an undiscussed subsequent edit) seems sufficiently cited in the responsible news media (including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, CNN News and many others) as well as Google Search (over 258,000 hits for "TrumpVirus" as/of September 5, 2020) to be relevant and satisfy WP:Notability - in any case - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 13:39, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  Umm, this article is not "cited in" any other media, although it does cite other media sources. You're neglecting to mention that what was removed (by me, see below) was a gross violation of WP:OR and WP:PROMO. This does not require discussion to remove. And no, the citations weren't sufficient (Does Urban Dictionary count as responsible media? Really?). There is no topic here to be notable. It was originally an article promoting a single website, which has been removed. People coin terms all the time and other people even talk about the coinage sometimes. But the terms themselves are almost never notable (in the Wikipedia sense), even though what they refer to might be. • Comment to expand on my original nomination a little. Looking at the original version of the article, all that was there was material serving to promote someone's website. I've since removed that and a lot of the WP:OR that was present. • DELETE We don't create articles for every single nation that has the virus and name them after the leader of those nations. Seems to be opinion pieces using this the most. They whine when things are shutdown, they whine when they aren't shut down and the virus spreads. A new editor with no other edits created the article, linking to their politically bias website. • Delete - we don't need to create articles very every single cute phrase someone happens to come up with and appears in a few sources.
